United We Thrive Campaign

Preventing Drug Abuse One Step At A Time
Children are feeling the pressure and stress of the unknown and many have lost their safe-haven of school where they find structure, meals, positive programming and mentorship. Parents are feeling more pressure than ever with financial concerns, job loss, at home schooling and anxious children. Though the COVID-19 outbreak is making its way through the streets, the illegal drug market has not slowed down; drug dealers have simply adapted wearing masks and gloves. Unite with us now and continue to help our at-risk youth through positive outreach, mentorship and online programming. We provide critical drug abuse awareness to children through dance and sport programs and need your help to continue to reach communities one step at a time! We can’t give up on making a difference for those who we serve! Visit the DEA Educational Foundation  (DEAEF) website to learn more.

DEA Educational Foundation Scholarship Programs:

The DEA Educational Foundation proudly supports various scholarship programs for students to encourage them to support one another through their own lifetime experiences and through social messaging about the dangers of prescription opioid misuse and heroin use. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, the Foundation sponsored nine scholarships distributed under Operation Prevention in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration.

In 2019, the Foundation was pleased to distribute a $10,000 scholarship check to five students from the Coffee County High School in Manchester, Tennessee. The Operation Prevention Video Challenge second place award was a $5,000 scholarship check and the third place winner in Cody, Wyoming was presented a check for $1,000.

Watch the first place winner, a powerful video, “What Could’ve Been” which was the recipient of not only the 1st Place National Grand Prize Award, but the People’s Choice Award for 2019!
